The RTRFM Training Course runs three times a year and goes for six weeks, for one night a week (with a choice of Tuesday or Wednesday) for two hours a night.

It is essentially a basic course, an introduction to broadcasting, and it covers:

• The station ethos
• An introduction to media law
• Basic presenting skills
• Studio operations
• Fast editing system
• Portable audio recorder operation for outside interviews

The course costs $265.
