Info Pack

The project is aimed at a youth audience. A band’s application will be considered with this in mind. The application form will be viewed by a selection panel who will choose applicants monthly and the application will be decided the month before the gig.

RTRFM will provide the venue with several banners promoting the “ReThink Drink” and “Don’t Drink and Drive” messages, as well as “No Smoking” signs to be displayed during the gig. There are also some RTRFM Fresh Blast t-shirts available for the band members.

All signage and advertisements will bear the Fresh Blast, X-Press, sponsors and RTRFM logos. The RTRFM Fresh Blast Coordinator will oversee the design of the advertisement in X-Press magazine. Sponsorship logos are already formatted on the side of the ad and the rest of the page is for your own design. The size of your space is 25 cm (wide) x 13.5 cm (high) and artwork should be emailed to jmidalia@rtrfm.com.au in mono (black & white) jpeg format of 300 dpi. Should you have any queries about artwork specifications, please contact administration at RTRFM, at the above email address, or on 9260 9200 during office hours.

The formatted poster will be sent to you if your application is approved. You’ll then have to send us a proof of the poster for us to approve before it is distributed.

Bands should be willing to remind the audience that it’s a Freshblast gig and to acknowledge Healthway, the Road Safety Council and RTRFM as gig sponsors. Your target audience is our target audience too.

Because the gig comes under the Healthway banner anything which is in conflict with Healthway such as alcohol promotions will not be permitted at the gig.

All funding for the CD Launch must be financially accountable through the Coordinator so please keep hold of the relevant invoices and receipts – funding can not be allocated without them. You organise the gig as per normal and we will reimburse you after the gig to a maximum of $250 based on the invoices and receipts.

Remember that it is your gig, you organise it, and we help out with some of the finer details along the lines of the project’s aims.
