Philanthropy Week

RTRFM’s inaugural Philanthropy Week, Monday 6 June to Sunday 12 June, was a great success with Philanthropic endeavors in Western Australia and across the nation profiled during Breakfast and Morning Magazine.

The RTRFM Philanthropy Week program included:

  • interviews with philanthropists in the arts, education and research sectors;
  • discussions about the impact of philanthropy in the community through personal stories of generosity that have transformed individuals and organisations;
  • and the types of philanthropy – workplace giving, giving circles, structured giving and volunteering.

Thank you to the interviewees who shared their personal stories during Philanthropy Week. You can listen to them below.

RTRFM Philanthropy Week was also a time when we said thank you to the team of over 200 RTRFM volunteer presenters who bring over 50 programs, 24hrs a day, 7 days a week to over 300,000 listeners a year.
