Adrian Craddock

A regular feature in the RTR studios, Adrian Craddock is the stations very own roaming reporter. Usually armed with a microphone and recorder, he’s a man who could pop up anywhere.

His journalistic adventures range from sharing ventilators with the geekazoids at the supernova sci-fi convention to risking his life on the unforgiving streets of an over-refreshed Northbridge.

Pale, Skinny and painfully awkward, ‘Crash’ Craddock, as they call him, also co-ordinates RTR’s youth show Youngblood.

Q & A

How did you become involved?
I did a uni assignment on RTR FM about a year ago and signed a volunteer form while i was touring the studios. The harsh mistress that is community radio sunk her claws in that day, and I’ve been hanging around ever since.

How long have you been with RTRFM?
12 months, pay attention…

What do you enjoy most about presenting?
Pretending to be John Safran for sometimes hours on end.

Strangest experience at RTRFM?
The entire computer system completely crashing on me within my first ever 20 minutes on air. That and realizing that Peter Barr has feet the size of tim tams. Since then every day’s been strange.

Favourite RTRFM program?
Morning Magazine, Breakfast with Barr, Rock Rattle and Roll, Rockin’ the Roots.

What do you do in real life?
Study Journalism at Curtin and play bass for The Glass Owls.
