How did you become involved with RTRFM?
Stumbled over the Woodstock show purely by chance working late at night, heard some tunes I hadn’t heard for years. After a couple of weeks I rang up to make a request for an old Deep Purple tune, and was pleasantly surprised
when they played it!! After ringing in with info on bands and artists for next several weeks, I was asked to come in as a guest and bring in some albums, and was called “Deep Purple Pete” at the last minute. Apparently I did ok and was asked to guest again, this turned into a regular appearance.

How long have you been with RTRFM?
Since the summer of 1998.

What do you enjoy most about presenting?
Playing tunes that don’t get airtime anywhere else, especially long proggy jams!!, digging up forgotten gems from the past, meeting the challenge of finding requests from bands/artists I don’t have in my library and being
part of the ‘Woodstock’ tribe.

Strangest experience at RTRFM?
Talking to the captain of a U.S Navy ship while cruising across the Indian Ocean, who made a request for some early Fleetwood Mac!!

Favourite RTRFM programs?
Woodstock (of course), Spoonful of Blues, El Ritmo, jazz, Breakfast………. love ‘em all.

What do you do in real life?
Drink far too much coffee and run my own business, supplying custom-made furnishings for decorators and the curtain industry.
