How did you become involved?

I used to work at a school and chris webbs (claude mono) daughter was a student in the class I was in. We got talking about music one day and discovered that we dug a lot of the same sounds. He mentioned the fact that he was one of the presenters on soulsides and I said “I need to play my parliament records somwhere”. So as it goes I was invited in as a guest and thay havent been able to get rid of me since.

How long have you been with RTRFM?

I have been a listener since the early 6uvsfm days and have been a presenter for about 6 years.

What do you enjoy most about presenting?

Playing music that I love over the airwaves and knowing that people are getting the same kick out of it (hopefully) as I am. Really, all it is about is dropping that needle and letting it do the talking, its all in the groove.

Strangest experience at RTRFM?

Seeing genge in person, seeing genge give a presentation at an AGM

Current favourite release?

I prefer sultanas

Favourite RTRFM program?

In no particular order
rock rattle and roll, indymedia, woodstock rock, jamdown, sat jazz, giant steps, friday full frequency ect, and a plug for soulsides and el ritmo
