How did you become involved?
I was heckling RTR for about a year before getting accepted to volunteer in the office! RTR has a lot to do with Central TAFE and knew it would be helpful getting involved with a station along with my studies. I then got amongst the office life every Monday and was offered a 3 week full time contract to assist the office manager during Radiothon. After about 3 months of working, I also started announce on Snooze Button. It’s been devine.

How long have you been with RTRFM?
I started here in the office around April 2010.

What do you enjoy most about presenting?
Getting my limbs out and having a boogie is essential. I love the way I can do this in the studio during a show with no limits whilst I’m presenting. I also enjoy the people and feel at RTR FM. Everyone is so down to earth, generally all interested in the community and local talent. I respect that and enjoy learning about such a diverse range of music. Making playlists is something that gets me pretty excited as well. I froth on a good cd.

Strangest experience at RTRFM?
Nothing too strange has happened yet but boy will one come up soon I’m sure. Although eating Nandos everyday during Radiothon 2010 was pretty strange. For many reasons. Mmm chicken.

Favourite programs?
I of course like to embark on the joys of Breakfast and occasionally listen to El Ritmo- it just makes me want to dance. Bass Check afterwards is also pretty raging if I’m still awake and Rhythm Trippin is always good for a late night grind.

What do you do in real life?
I study radio at TAFE, work casually for an event company, a bar, and an office. In other words- HECTIC, but still love to make time for RTR’s heavenly goods.
