Oliver’s musical obsession exhibited itself early in life and progressed rapidly. During the late eighties punk rock and hip hop were his first independent musical passions after his grandmother’s classical tutorage as a youth. Consequently his musical obsession has proven to be virulent, progressive and incurable.

Oliver started out broadcasting on 6NR and RTRFM back in the early 90’s, before decamping to the UK and finally washing up in Sydney, where he presented 2SER’s Night Flight from 2005-2009.

From dropping inscrutable electronica and reppin’ the hardcore continuum’s latest bass mutations; to maudlin singer-songwriters straight out of the Appalachian backwoods, and some mind-boggling dada-inspired avant-garde nonsense, Oliver’s journeys through music’s lesser traveled byways inspire and bemuse in equal measure.
