How did you become involved (with the station and your program/s)?

I had been listening (and subscribing) to Woodstock Rock for a number of years. One of the presenters worked in music retail and one day he suggested I was buying so much Woodstock era material from him that I should come along and play some on the show. I started (very nervously) with a couple of shows and my involvement grew from that.

How long have you been with RTRFM?

Since 2001…

What do you enjoy most about presenting?

It’s great to put together a show with music that I love and find that others enjoy it too. And we also get feedback from listeners suggesting other releases to check out and I’ve discovered some great music from that as well.

Strangest experience at RTRFM?

I did a couple of overnight programs and would sometimes get calls from listeners who would have to cut the call short, obviously shift workers and the boss was coming back! Also, those programs would be followed by Breakfast where Genge would take over the studio like a force of nature.

Favourite RTRFM program/s?

Woodstock Rock of course, Rock Rattle and Roll and Soulsides are always good value, and Breakfast and Drivetime when I’m out and about.

What do you do in real life?

I work in IT, pretending that I know what I’m doing.
