Simon Johnson aka Rhymin’ Simon
My interest in music started when I first lived in London in 1970 where I became a regular at the Marquee Club. One of many highlights was seeing Genesis led by Peter Gabriel with 60 odd other punters! During that time I saw many bands from the Woodstock Rock era (’64 – ’74) at various venues around London. Some of the memorable gigs were at the Rainbow (now a church) where I saw the Who launch ‘Who’s Next’ and Pink Floyd do the same with ‘ Dark side of the Moon’. Since then music has been very much part of my life.
