How did you become involved with the station and your program?

I had emailed RTR to see if there was any news-related work I could help with, and luckily Peter Barr phoned me one sunny Sunday afternoon to see if I would like to help produce Morning Magazine. I got thrown in the chair one morning and have managed to stay there ever since!

How long have you been with RTRFM?

Since about February 2008

What do you enjoy most about presenting?

I really like the fact that at the start of an interview you can know nothing about a topic, and by the end you are completely intrigued. You get to meet some pretty inspiring people. Also, being able to play amazing music for three hours straight is wonderful. Being involved with RTR in general makes me very happy.

Strangest experience at RTRFM?

Getting a phone call from a listener who claimed to know some pretty damning information regarding ‘Skippy’ (the bush kangaroo) was quite strange. Weird and wonderful things happen every day on Morning Magazine.

Favourite RTRFM programs?

Obviously Morning Magazine, and I am eternally grateful to Out to Lunch for feeding me the best new tunes. Plus Barr keeps me company on the way to work, and Saturday reggae owns my soul! I could happily listen to RTR any time of day.

What do you do in real life?

I write for a local newspaper during the week and (still) peddle cd’s every now and then.
