How did you become involved?
My Uni radio tutor suggested I get involved around the station after my first desk test. I joined the Rockin’ the Roots collective after getting to know the co-ordinator and to up the largely non-existent female quota on the show.

How long have you been with RTRFM?
Started volunteering in the office in October 08, did my first show in June 09.

What do you enjoy most about presenting?
Playing music I love for an audience that tunes in to hear it, the immediacy and challenge that goes with live radio.

Strangest experience at RTRFM?
When the first track I attempted to play on my first show on the station died right after I nervously anounced it. Having Predgrag Delabasich call me right after playing a track of his, to thank me and tell me i played it at the wrong speed.

Favourite RTRFM programs?
Rockin’ the Roots, El Ritmo, Out to Lunch, Breakfast, Soulsides, and lots more.

What do you do in real life?
Study the wonders of radio at Uni, plunk away at guitar and bass in a circus band and come up with excuses to spend the whole day cooking delicious food.
