DBC Pierre, the man who won the Booker prize for his first novel “Vernon God Little”, was in Perth last week to launch his new book “Ludmilla’s Broken English”. He has a chequered past (to say the least) and a unique outlook on life and shared some of those tales (and vodka, but that’s another story) with Martin McKenzie Murray.
We also heard from Oxford Historian Dr Robert Gerwarth, an expert on the history of terrorism in 20th century Germany. He was in Perth for a series of lectures on Terrorism at the Institute of Advanced Studies at UWA. Marty first asks if Terrorism has ever worked…

Have a listen to Martin McKenzie Murray’s conversation with Booker Prize winner DBC Pierre.
