In 2007 Sholtez won the APRA Award for Most Performed Jazz Work for his tune “Love Me For The Cool”, from his debut album “Real Street” which debuted at number one on the ARIA Jazz and Blues chart, and went on to stay there for 10 weeks consecutively.

Having returned from the US where he recorded his new album “The Distance Between Two Truths” with Grammy award winning producer Larry Klein (Herbie Hancock, Joni Mitchell, Madeleine Peyroux, Tracy Chapman) now Mark is set to take the stage for a national tour throughout September 2010.
