Did you know Australia was the first country to make the wearing of a bike helmet compulsory?

Well, some people want the law scrapped, and one of the movements leading voices is a leading professional in public health.

Sydney University’s school of public health Associate Professor Chris Rissel says helmets are stopping people from riding bikes – and the biggest drop in bike accident head injuries happened before laws made helmets compulsory.

He joined Adrian Craddock on Morning Magazine.
