There are about 95 million people who are blind or vision impaired by uncorrected refractive error.

A simple eye test and glasses can fix the problem, but many people around Australia can’t afford the correct eye care or glasses.

On World Sight Day, on October 9, proceeds from eye tests will fund the Sight Day Challenge.

Optometrist, cricket legend and World Sight Day Ambassador, Geoff Lawson explained the challenge to Shannon Fox on Morning Magazine.
