Back when he was Premier, Richard Court had a dream – to capture the history of Northbridge before it was lost and use the history in the revitalisation of the area.

Court’s vision became Colin Barnett’s reality in 2005 when the Premier established The Northbridge History Project.

Now, more than 3,000 images, 400 oral histories and 750 documents tell the story of our entertainment district and are available for you to see.

The Northbridge History Project’s Director Dr Felicity Morel-EdnieBrown – who probably deserves a very long rest – joined Bren Mcgurk.
