Indymedia attends protest vigil

In the past weeks Indymedia has been closely following the Rudd Governments regressive changes to immigration policy. In particular the freeze on asylum claims from Tamil Sri Lankans and Hazara Afghans, as well as the reopening of the Curtin detention center.

Indymedia reporter Allan Boyd was at a protest vigil organized by the Refugee Rights Action Network last Friday evening to find out why people were protesting.
