The Many Australian Photographers Group (MAP) has compiled a collection of works demonstrating the impact of sustained drought on Australia.

Traveling the country with cameras, MAP examined the ingenuity, the resilience and ultimately the despair of the people whose lives are forever transformed by the drought.

With a forward by prolific writer Don Watson and contributions by 38 photographers Beyond Reasonable Drought is a record of a significant period in Australian history, and a tribute to those who struggle everyday.

Photographer Roger Garwood spoke with Bren McGurk.
