Aside from celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of the launch of “There’s a Hippopotamus on our roof eating cake”, and its recent translation into Chinese, author Hazel Edwards, has just released her 200th book!

A sign of the great esteem she has earned among her peers, she won the Australian Society of Authors award last year, and now, she’s been nominated for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award for the promotion of children’s literature and children’s rights.
