The Aboriginal and Torre Strait Islander Legal Services are a group of indigenous organisations that offer legal aid in a culturally appropriate way.

Earlier this week, ATSILS leaders met collectively for the first time with the Commonwealth Attorney General, the Honourable Robert McClelland MP.

At the historically significant meeting, ATSILS had the opportunity to share their knowledge and provide a national perspective on the issues affecting Australia’s First Nations Peoples.

CEO of the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service and the Chairperson of the ATSILS Forum Frank Guivarra joined Danae Gibson on Morning Magazine.
