Frisbee Golf, or ‘Disc-Golf’ as it’s professionally known, combines the tradition of Golf with all the carefree fun of Frisbee and you can play it right here in Perth.

Using a Frisbee, it follows the main rules of golf and the player must work their way down the course, attempting to get their Frisbee into an elevated metal target at the end.

And it’s not a quirky local novelty – local Disc-Golfers have just returned from a national competition.

It’s a little different to traditional golf or the backyard game of Ultimate Frisbee, but it sounds like fun – Jamie Macdonald got his frizz on with local Disc-Golf players Dave Bandy and Chris Finn on Morning Magazine.
