Karen Kissane, a senior writer with The Age and a daily reporter on the Bushfires Royal Commission is releasing her new novel that reflects not only upon the fires and disaster, but also human passion.

‘Worst of Days – Inside the Firestorm’ is a behind the scenes story of the people who were inside Black Saturday’s most deadly firestorm, the Kilmore blaze.

One year on, Karen Kissane joined Travis Collins on Morning Magazine to talk about her experience writing the book.
