The third album for Sharon Jones and The Dap Kings has recently reached us, with some clamour. Since the outfit’s amazing performance at the Belvoir Grand Ballroom in the Swan Valley in APril 2006, support for the mainstay of the Daptone Records stable has been huge. And deservedly so, as they help champion something of a global rebirth of original, genuine soul and funk.
