Indigenous males are twice as likely to die during the first year of their life…twice as likely to suffer from mental health disorders…while their life expectancy is 67 years old, 12 years younger than that of non-indigenous males.

These are just some of the facts to come from the latest AMA Indigenous Health Report Card.

The report’s raised many questions over indigenous healthcare, with health advocates demanding an extra 470 million dollars to be guaranteed by the Federal Government.
