As Kevin Rudd apologised to the forgotten Australians, Perth’s been hosting the 2009 Asia Pacific Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect.
The conference has gathered researchers, professionals and practitioners from the Asia Pacific region that deal directly with child abuse.
And part of the conference is the Youth Participants Program that gives a voice to youth from 14 to 25 years of age.
Their views will be presented as a short documentary to delegates as part of the closing ceremony at 1 o’clock today.
The group will also have the opportunity to ask the first question of every one of the five keynote speakers.
Co-chair of the Youth Participant Program, Kristian Goodacre spoke to Adrian on Morning Magazine.
