American folk music is almost always synonymous with some form of political struggle.
Folk legends such as Woddy Guthrie and Pete Seeger often acted as voices for the social, economic and environmental justice movements of their day.
American folk singer and activist David Rovics has been continuing this tradition for the last twenty years and this Sunday he commences his third Australian tour with his debut appearance in Perth at The Irish Club in Subiaco with support from local favourites Sugar Child.
