Podcasts let you have audio content downloaded directly to your listening device of choice, without you having to lift a finger.

If you’re new to podcasting, the easiest way to get into things is using Apple’s iTunes program. If you have an iPod, this makes for joy and world peace like you’ve never seen. But you don’t need an iPod to listen to podcasts (or to use iTunes). There are plenty of other ways.

Copy and paste the relevant “Subscribe” link into your chosen podcatcher, and everything else should be like sipping gin at a pool-side bar. In iTunes, select “Subscribe to Podcast” from the “Advanced” menu.
